Boeckman Road Corridor Project will make the road safer to use for drivers, cyclists and pedestrians.
The project will link schools, trails, and residential communities and build infrastructure to support the growing Frog Pond area.
The project will bring the road up to urban standards, adding a new three span bridge to remove the “dip” and improve visibility. A shared use path, separated bike lane, sidewalk, and lighting are also included to make the road safer for everyone.

Recreational and fitness opportunities will be increased for the community. The project includes a link to the Boeckman Creek Regional Trail between the new bridge and Frog Pond.
Approximately one-half mile of new sanitary sewer trunk will be constructed on Boeckman Road to serve the Frog Pond area. The new sewer will connect existing sewer lines between the new bridge on the west and Wilsonville/Stafford Roads on the east.
Native plants will be used for stormwater management and landscaping where possible. Native plants are lower maintenance, resistant to pests, and better adapted to our wet winters and dry summers. They also benefit wildlife and native pollinators, like butterflies and bees.
The project is being paid for through multiple sources. This includes the Year 2000 Urban Renewal district, Frog Pond Infrastructure Funds, Road Operating and Clackamas Vehicle Registration Fee funds, and Transportation and Wastewater System Development Charges (SDC). SDC’s are one-time fees paid by developers that cover the cost of transportation and wastewater facilities needed to serve growth.
