Amateur and professional photographers, the City of Wilsonville’s fifth annual “Best of Wilsonville” Photo Contest is now open!

Share your unique perspective on life in Wilsonville through your original photographs. All submissions are eligible for prizes, including a $100 gift card (to the Wilsonville retailer of your choice) for the photo judged Best Overall. Ten category winners will also receive prizes (to be determined by contest organizers).

Winning photos may be featured on the City’s social media channels and in official publications, including the Annual Report, the 2026–27 Fiscal Year Budget, and the 2026–27 Annual Comprehensive Financial Report.

CATEGORIES: (You may assign your submissions to a category, otherwise a category will be assigned by judges)

  • "Explore Wilsonville" – Photos fit for a tourism brochure, from any local restaurant, retailer, hotel, iconic location and/or local attraction.
  • Up-Close / Abstract / Patterns – Capture the details! Focus closely on objects, textures, or patterns to reveal beauty and interest that might be easy to miss.
  • Weather & Scenescapes – Share the beauty of Wilsonville’s skies and landscapes! From rain, snow, or sunshine to sunsets, clouds, rainbows, rivers, and seasonal scenery, capture the moments that make our outdoors amazing.
  • Nature: Trails, Trees, & Flowers – Show us the natural beauty of Wilsonville! Capture parks, trails, blooming flowers, towering trees, and the outdoor spaces you love.
  • Wildlife – Share the wildlife you discover around Wilsonville! From birds and squirrels to insects and other creatures, show the animals that make our community’s outdoors special.
  • Pets of Wilsonville – All pets welcome! Show us your dogs, cats, horses, fish, birds, flamingos, otters and unicorns.
  • Life in Action – Celebrate active, lively, and fun moments in your community.
  • Cultural Traditions – Celebrate your culture with us! Show festivals, traditional dishes, clothing, rituals, and meaningful moments that highlight your heritage.
  • City Life & Services – Photos that prominently include amenities/resources provided by the City and agency partners - Library, SMART Transit, Parks & Rec. programs, Willamette Water Treatment Plant, Republic Services, PGE charging stations, Community Center, West Linn-Wilsonville School District, Wilsonville Police, Tualatin Valley Fire & Rescue, etc.
  • heARTS of Wilsonville – Have you spotted all ten hearts around town? Capture a photo of your favorite and share the love!

There is no fee to enter; entrants may submit up to 20 entries. Entrants accept and agree to be bound by Official Rules provided here.

2026 #BestofWilsonville Photo Contest Winners

Thanks to everyone who participated in the annual #BestofWilsonville photo contest. With well over 400 photos, our panel of judges were knocked out!

Our distinguished panel of six has completed its work. Each judge submitted their top five selections in each of 10 categories. Points were awarded (5-4-3-2-1) from each judge. The photo with the top cumulative score in each category was deemed the 'best of category' winner. From among the 10 category winners, judges selected their top three (3-2-1 points awarded). Congratulations to Ramshi Hamza Ambalathuveetil Pandarathil, our Life in Action category winner, who is also our Grand Prize Winner!

And congratulations to our other category winners! We will be in touch soon about prizes. Our Grand Prize Winner receives a $100 gift card to Wilsonville retailer of their choice. The prize for the category winners is a #BestofWilsonville photo calendar, featuring their winning photo.

To all that participated, thank you! We look forward to showcasing your photos in the City's Annual Report, our Annual Comprehensive Financial Report, and other places where we may have the opportunity to show off the beauty that exists everywhere in Wilsonville.
