The City is excited to collaborate with community stakeholders to develop the City's next great park in Wilsonville's new Frog Pond West neighborhood. This park is to be about 3 acres in size, and located within the Frog Pond West boundary. A public outreach campaign to solicit community preferences for this new park began in Sept. 2022 with a public survey.

Thanks to the more than 200 residents who responded with overwhelming sentiment in favor of the new park. Among the park amenities most in demand were new areas to bike and walk. Input gathered will directly inform the future design of the park, which is to be funded with assistance from Metro's Local Share program.

The City of Wilsonville has identified a property that could be developed into a park to serve the Frog Pond West Neighborhood. One idea the City is considering is a partnership with Metro to purchase and develop this 3-acre property, which is centrally located and adjacent to a future West Linn/Wilsonville School District primary school scheduled to open in 2024.
