Wilsonville Town Center Streetscape Plan

In 2019, the City of Wilsonville adopted the Town Center Plan establishing a vision for a vibrant, walkable community hub that inspires people to come together and socialize, shop, live, and work.

To achieve the plan's goals and broader vision, City staff have been working on a Streetscape Plan that establishes design guidelines for sidewalks and streets, including items such as street furniture, lighting fixtures, landscaping, public art placement and pavement design. The completed plan will create a distinct look and feel for Town Center streets. Over time, the new streetscape will be critical in fostering a strong sense of place for residents, employees and visitors.

With new landscaping features, plaza spaces and bike/pedestrian infrastructure planned, project leaders started by asking the community for input on which elements to prioritize and what design aesthetic is preferred for the final Streetscape Plan. Based on public input received during the community engagement the project team created a plan that reflects the design preferences of the community. The resulting plan was adopted in October 2021.
